A Fusion of Traditional Japanese Beauty and European Design

ModuleX® was selected for Soho House Tokyo, the London-based members’ club’s first location in Japan, which opened in Minami-Aoyama.

Founded in 1995, Soho House is a members-only club with multi-purpose venues around the world, providing places for creatives to gather, connect, and enjoy themselves.
Soho House Tokyo, the club’s first location in Japan, offers a distinctive aesthetic, beautifully blending traditional Japanese crafts and materials with European design.

We created and supplied decorative lighting fixtures, including custom-designed ModuleX® MOTIF BESPOKE fixtures, that bring the vision of Soho House’s in-house design team to life down to the finest detail.
Rather than relying on standard functional lighting fixtures, we crafted the lighting environment using nothing but decorative lighting fixtures, such as pendant lights, wall sconces, and floor lamps. This enabled us to achieve a quality of light calculated to complement the delicate textures of the interior, and to meticulously integrate the fixtures with a high degree of precision. The rich, beautiful contrast between light and shadow quietly enhances the sophisticated aesthetic.
